Friendship

Love this quote from Emily Bronte

"Love is like the wild rose briar, friendship is like the holly tree.
The holly is dark when the rose briar blooms.
But which will bloom most constantly"

The image on this card is from Stitchy Bears and is called "Juliet", the shop can be found HERE.  I have coloured Juliet is Copic pens, layered red, green and silver cardstock onto a white card, aqdded the sentiment, some red roses and some homemade holly.

Card entered into the following challenges

Use it Tuesday # 63 - Friendship (need to use something from your stash) All the cardstock was offcuts and the red roses have been with me forever.

Cass, this friendship card is so beautiful and I am in awe at how you've used Emily Bronte's words and then depicted them so visually (and powerfully) in every detail of your card. The briar roses, two tones of holly and the treasured friend dressed to emphasise the colours of love and friendship. You've put so much thought into your work and some friend is going to feel so valued and treasured when receiving this card. Good luck in our challenge this week. Ingrid xx (OSAAT Team)
